To say their day was emotional would be a huge understatement. Tom and Kristin not only know how to have fun, (as evidence by their National Museum of Play engagement session), they know how to throw an amazing wedding. This post is basically a follow up to my previous post about this awesome couple.
The day began as most wedding days do, with the hustle and bustle of hair and make up at their homes in Fairport. Then it was off to the ceremony.
I've documented a lot of wedding ceremonies in my career so far. This one blew me away. Tom and Kristin's devotion to each other, their families, and God is truly awe inspiring. They are the first couple I've ever seen lead the congregation in song, serenading each other and their guests with the sounds of guitar, drum and maracas. All the while, never taking their eyes off of each other. It was unique, beautiful and moving all at the same time.

A ceremony so touching, there wasn't a dry eye on that terrace. |
The reception was lively and fun. Avid swing dancers, the couple's first dance showed their personalities, and showed off some REAL moves. I think I'm going to ask for lessons...

Tom & Kristin took advantage of every opportunity to be on the dance floor! |
We had the opportunity to sneak away for some photos at sunset.
It was the perfect night to play in the vineyards.
The night finished off with a special touch. The couple departed through a sea of sparklers into a beauty of a yellow corvette. Not a bad way to leave a party!

A big huge "thank you" goes out to my favorite co-photographer
Lori Coleman, for being an amazing part of this day with me. Tom and Kristin, thank you for welcoming me into your day. Your faith and optimism touched my heart in a way I could never fully explain. Thank you for showing that to me.
Best wishes and God Bless you in all that you do together!
